There is a pit trap for Multicity flight ticket

Have you bought "Multicity ticket"?
Sometimes people buy "Multicity ticket" for their travel.

"Multicity ticket" means not one way, not round trip.

It's like...
From City A - City B - City C
or
From City A- City C- City B- City A

You can visit more than two cities, not just for transit.

Did you know that? there is a pit trap.

If you book "Multicity ticket" or "return ticket" flight ticket, you MUST NOT miss each flight.
if you miss one flight, all following flight will be canceled by airline automatically.

Example, From City ACity CCity BCity A case,
You got the flight to city A, and if you missed the flight to city C, those flight to city B and A will be canceled.
Then, you will lose all flight, have to buy the new one.

I know someone who booked a Multicity flight ticket for 5 people (family), used the first ticket, after that, they changed their plan, bought another ticket for another day, then tried to use less ticket to go back their country.

Of cause, the less ticket was already canceled because they skip one flight.

Unfortunately, your travel agent won't be able to help you, there is nothing they can do to help you.
Sometimes, the airline can do something for you, but it's about 10% of hope or maybe less...
It's not mentioned on the booking site because it's a common sense in the travel industry.

It's a life.... she lost more than 2000USD.

I recommend that when you change the plan, better to contact your travel agent or airline first, do not make your own decision. 🙏
